
About Me
My name is Samantha Shorts and I've been practising yoga since 2004. Through all the challenges that life has to offer my yoga practice has offered a sanctuary which has kept me grounded and able to weather the storms more easily. The simple practice of being present and connecting with the body and breath is so effective for improving health and happiness. I was hooked!
I have been teaching since 2019 so I can share my passion for yoga and help others find stillness in this busy, modern and disconnected world.
I grew up in London but I now live in Messery, France with my husband and 2 children. Living close to the Alps gave me the idea of creating Sam's Mountain Yoga. But more importantly, the mountains symbolise strength and stability. They are something to be respected. Somewhere to immerse ourselves in nature. For me they link nicely with yoga, which brings strength and stability to our body and mind, and leads us back to our true essence or nature.
